New Video: Flying Flannel II - Progression

I had the most amazing weekend at Mountain Creek and came away with a new video. I’m super stoked on my sequel to last year’s Flying Flannel edit. That video was shot at the end of the season and showcased my best riding of the year.

This year, I wasn’t so sure I’d have enough awesome new footage for an end of season shoot. Yes, my riding had progressed a lot, but mostly in terms of speed and strength in tech. With all the racing this season, I actually didn’t have too many days of party laps in the park. Also, I was having such a great race season, I didn’t want to get hurt hucking some drop just because it was there.

Well, as I wrote about in my last post, I ended up at the bike park on Saturday feeling great, and with the encouragement of my new friends from Rochester, I sent things that were on my dream list. I knew by the end of the day that I would have enough content to make an end of season edit. I returned to Mountain Creek on Columbus Day with my Dad lugging a bag of camera gear.

The weather was dank, foggy and misty - perfect flannel wearing weather! We shot all day and I hit all the new drops again, multiple times. After a bunch of takes on some of the drops, I was even throwing in some style…they were just so much fun. The trails were running a little slow due to the wet conditions, so some of the table top jump shots required me repeating them as my usual speeds had me casing the lips. In the end, we got all the shots we needed. We hit Dominion, Pipeline, Salvation, Tempest, and more. I hope you enjoy Flying Flannel II - Progression.
