New Video: Sprain Ridge Park Trail Sampler
I am stoked to release this new video showcasing my local riding trails. Sprain Ridge Park is less than ten minutes from my home and I’ve been riding these trails since I was four years old.
We spent four days shooting over a three week period, squeezing in shots between gnarly weather, band rehearsal, and school work. There is a ton of riding at Sprain, if you want cross-country you got it. If you want massive road gap hucks, it’s got that too. It’s also loaded with interesting slick rock, tech, log rides…you get the picture.
How to capture this diversity was the question. What we decided to do was continuously ride a five mile loop that went from one end of the park to the other and back again. Along the way we hit some features that were off the trail, and we captured this using picture-in-picture. We wanted to show options that were available, but not a necessity when completing a loop.
I hope you enjoy the video, I had a lot of fun making it. Go to Sprain Ride Park, ride the trails and features, and discover the many others that lie in this little slice of nature.
A big shout out and thank you to Hickory & Tweed for supporting me and the promotion of local trail riding.
