New Video: Graham Hills Trail Sampler
Graham Hills Park is one of my local trail biking spots, only 20 minutes up the parkway from where I live. The geography of the park is roughly dome shaped with a couple of popular climbing trails leading from the parking lot to the top. From there, a bunch of options are available to descend the backside and link into the Blue Trail that wraps the circumference of the park like a belt.
Since I’m a downhiller, it’s the fast, downhill sections that get me excited. My dad and I decided to shoot a video of me sending many of the downhill sections in the park. We selected six trails to film, which made for a rather long, hard day. We were out shooting for more than four hours and rode almost 2,000 vertical feet. We were exhausted afterwards.
In the video, we shot Red Trail, Blue (Frontside and Backside), Boulderdash, Motorcycle, and White Trail. We used the new DJI Osmo Pocket for almost all the footage, and I’m stoked how it turned out. The video should give you a sense of my local trails, and if you are ever in the area, let me know and we can go ride.
